The one with all the kids was held at Louise Archer Elementary school.  It is a class of 5th graders who made blankets as part of their Christmas party.  The one with three kids includes Maddie and they were making blankets for the Winchester SPCA.  The girl next to Maddie you may recognize – she is Trilby Brown – Miss Apple Blossom Outstanding PreTeen.

Unity's Appearances

January 2, 2011 - Unity volunteering at the Varina Food Pantry and sorts items
prior to their bimonthly distributions. The young girl with her is a
friend named Kendra Appleby (that also works the sorts) and the adults
with her are staff for the pantry.
Unity spent some time sharing her favorite books at Henry D Ward Elementary, in Henrico County, with the Kindergarten classes on February 16, 2011.  She also stopped into Mrs. Moore's first grade class where she mentors a student two days a week.   March is literacy month and Unity will be visiting both Children's Museum of Richmond locations for reading events.

Unity has proven babysitting skills and now has a permanent babysitting gig!

Unity spent National Reading Month at the Children's Museum of Richmond at the Short Pump and Central locations.  Unity appreciates the little ones that came to listen to the stories.  She knows how hard it is to sit still with so many other activities available.  She spent time in many different areas of the museums and joined Seymour for a trip around the central location during her visit.
